Ceramic Coating — Real Protection That Lasts Years
A ceramic coating bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, glossy layer that protects your car from UV damage, bird droppings, water spots, and everyday wear. It makes washing easier, keeps the paint looking fresh, and holds your car's value over time.
This isn't a spray wax or a quick sealant. We spend hours prepping and correcting your paint first, then install the coating on a clean, defect-free surface so it performs the way it should.
Is ceramic coating right for you?
Coating makes sense if you:
- Drive a car you want to keep looking good for years
- Park outside in the San Diego sun
- Are tired of swirl marks showing up after every wash
- Want to wash less often and still have your car look clean
- Plan to keep or resell your car and want to protect its value
If you're selling a car next month and just need it cleaned up, a full detail is probably the better call. But if you care about your car long-term, coating is the move.

Best for: High-end builds, forever cars, and weekend toys you want looking incredible for the long haul.

Paint Correction — Fix the Swirls Before We Seal Them In
Here's the thing most people don't realize: a ceramic coating locks in whatever your paint looks like right now. If there are swirl marks, scratches, or haze, the coating seals those in too.
That's why we pair every coating with the right level of paint correction first. We fix the paint, then protect it.
Paint Enhancement — Light Correction
Roughly 30–50% defect removal. Best for newer cars or paint that's in decent shape with minor swirls. Often paired with 3-year coatings.
One-Step Correction — Medium Correction
Roughly 60–80% defect removal. Handles noticeable swirls and light scratches on daily drivers. The most popular option — often paired with 6-year coatings.
Two-Step Correction — Heavy Correction
Roughly 80–95% defect removal. For dark colors, heavily swirled paint, or owners who want the best possible finish. Often paired with 6- or 10-year coatings.
After Your Coating Is Installed
We'll walk you through simple aftercare so your coating performs as long as it should. The short version:
Avoid automatic brush washes and harsh chemicals. Use a pH-neutral soap and proper wash technique. Have us do a maintenance detail every 4–8 weeks to keep it dialed. And a maintenance decon service every 3–6 months to strip any embedded contaminants.
We handle all of this if you want — most coating clients just get on our maintenance schedule and never think about it again.
